Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a lot of carbonated bubbles that suspend in the beer. For someone like me who is not a fan I stouts I was pleasantly surprised. Not as dry as normal stouts with a crisp finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lovely roasted malts, hint of dry ashiness, burnt wood, cocoa and coffee beans. Bitter ending

It pours deep black vegemite, the aroma is coffee and burnt toast. The taste is harsh, dry, salty, very fizzy.

Very nice aroma. Chocolate, coffee, dried fruits, chocolate liquor. RIS-like. A tiny bit of vanilla in the background. Pours black with pretty big tan-coloured head leaving a nice lacing. Taste is bittersweet. All aromas are present in the flavour. beer leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Awesome beer.

It's about what you would expect. Not really creamy. Kind of thin but also fairly alcoholic. A bit too carbonated for my liking.

Bottle - deep dark black with a fizzy brown head and pretty good lacing. Aroma of chocolate, roast malt, caramel and nuts. Taste of roast malt, light smoke, medium bitterness and some caramel notes. Tarry, heavy body and medium carbonation. Super.

5 year old bottle. Almost opaque dark brown beer, few tan bubbles not forming a head. Palate is light and has fine minerally carbonation. Mild and slightly thin dark malts, just a very light touch of roast. Light touches of tangy dark chocolate and dark fruits. Light dry finish. Surprisingly no oxidisation.
