Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 14, 2004 April 2004. Hazy blonde with white head. Fresh malts and spices in nose, with a peppery malty taste with lots of german hops . Good bodied. Again, good beer. MartinT (4377), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 29, 2004 Euphoriant Saaz soon to be besieged by an intrusive window cleaner...A luscious creamy body laced in acidic citrus...If it weren’t for that nesting infection, this would be a scrumptious Bohemian pils... tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 27, 2004 Grainy, oxidized aroma. Hazy blond body with big white fully diminishing head. No hops apparent but there is something funky and sour. Slick, smooth mouthfeel. I suspect something is awry with this one and find it hard to believe I was sampling the same glass as the Cap... We had very different impressions. On tap at the brewery. CapFlu (3340), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Apr 27, 2004 (Draught) Sampled at the brewery. Was told there was Saaz hops in here... I don't think so? Nice head retention. Good grapefruit nose and flavour. Creamy and lasting bitterness. My favourite beer by this brewery.
