beerbill (1163), Laurel, New York, USA Oct 11, 2006 22 oz. bottle. I’ve had a few of the Cooper’s Cave beers and was not thrilled with them, so I was not expecting much when I cracked open this bottle. To my surprise, a well crafted brew! Pours a hazy gold with a moderate white head with nice lacing. Light floral hoppy aroma. Initial flavor is slightly sweet followed by some hops bitterness. Not excessively bitter. Crisp finish. By far the best I have sampled thus far from Cooper’s Cave. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 15, 2006 on tap-pours a white head with hazy gold color. Aroma is chitrus hops. Taste follows with some spices and medium malt. Nice. gws57 (951), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Aug 9, 2005 Had this one on draught in Glens Falls, New York. An good example of the type. Citrus fruits in the nose along with flowers and hops, excellently balanced in the finish with notes of apple and orange. Very good. ABUSEDGOAT (1868), California, USA Jun 15, 2005 Tap: Very bitter aroma and taste. Decent head, golden color. It’s not very well balanced as it’s bitterness is overpowering in a bad way. There was nothing else to the beer. dirtymike (2019), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Mar 17, 2005 Golden in color with a small white head and large loose bubbles. Bitter, spicy, earthy, medicinal bitter finish. Thin mouthfeel, real English character.
