Commercial Description:
Cooper's Cave Ale Company's flagship ale is an Irish Red Ale. Three English Malts and one Belgian Munich Malt make up the grain bill. It is a full bodied Red Ale packed with flavor, blended with American Nugget hops for bitterness and East Kent Golding for flavor and aroma. This ale has turned the heads of many "dyed in the wool" American lager drinkers. OSG 1.054 - IBU 35

Yeasty, spicey aroma, with the musk of old cellars. Dark copper color with a light head. Full flavor and good on the palate, but pretty nasty going down - taste of peat and dirty socks, with rough hops in the finish. A little local brew that appears to need some improvement. I would like to give them another try - the bottle I had may have been stale or contaminated.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with copper-red color. Aroma is medium malt, hops. Taste follows with asome bitterness. Nice.

Light amber haze in color with ruby highlights and a small off-white head. Spicy, fruity, pine tree aroma. Flavor is upfront bitterness, tangy malt and spicy hops.

Cloudy orange with ruby notes, small bubbled thin white head. Huge sweet attack in the nose (oranges) and in the flavor. Intersting, but way too sweet.
