Pours gold with a fading head.
Nose shows macro-like cooked veg, faint lemon and light malt.
A bit of light malt as a flavours too, but very little else. Very low bitterness too.
Seems sweet.
Too much carbonation.

bottle- Very disappointing from coopers and disappointing for even a low carb beer. Just no coopers.

Pours a clear pale yellow gold colour with a very thin head that dissapated very quickly. Low/moderate carbonation. Difficult to detect any aroma - very faint sweet malt with trace of hops. Not much flavour. Palate thin. Like many other low carb beers ... can’t recommend it.

Touch and go which is worse. Pilsener 62 or Clear. Pilsener 62 probably stuck out more as I had three bottles and not one. If you are looking for flavour then skip this beer.

Clear Hazy straw colour with thin white head. Malt aroma, metalic tingly moutfeel,sharp finish.
What a shame a great brewery has sold out to themarketing department.

Someone said "A pale lager is naturally low in carbohydrates, why do people still believe this hoax in brewing advertising".
You need to broaden your thinking. I am a late onset Type 1 diabetic. I have worked with my doctor and others and have completely recovered my health by adopting a low carb diet. It is true that pale lagers are lower in carbs than some beers. However some of us have a very strict carb budget (around 30-50 grams per day) and a beer with 3g carbs is a better choice than a beer with 10g of carbs.
Coopers Clear is nice and refreshing IMHO.

Nice refreshing beer. Not a whole lot going on flavour wise but still have some nice qualities. Great appearance and a refreshing finish.
