2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a 375ml bottle on 30/8/2012. Pours a cloudy light yellow with little head. Has a slight fruity yeasty aroma. Flavour wise, there are hints of Coopers Pale and Sparkling, but on a very subdued scale - a little fruity and yeasty, with a decent hop bitterness. All up, this is not bad for a mid-strength, but you’ll wish is was a Sparkling.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a medium golden, very hazy, with absolutely zero head. A bottled version of the rare "light (in color) mild" style. There’s a very faint and weak aroma of sour grains, a very slight doughy smell, and a somewhat medicinal smell. Super weak flavor, watery yet astringently bitter at the same time. There’s also a strong aftertaste of dried grass and it comes across as dusty with a catty, muddled flavor. The carbonation for the style is much too high and adds to the astringent finish. Not a good example of the style.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled 375 ml from Dan Murphy’s, Eltham (Melbourne). On July 28, 2013.
Best after 27/05/13.
Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head. Sweet, malty, bread, grainy taste. Dry, grainy aftertaste. Medium a bit fizzy and thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet, malty scent.
Sort of boring.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Feel sorry for this brew. Is underated considering its lower alchol content and that it actually has flavour unlike most lagers. Poured a cloudy pale amber with small white head. Aroma of yeasty dough, reminiscent of Coopers’ Pale Ale. Taste doughy, yeast, bitter, a touch sour, again all typical Coopers. Perhaps a touch of pine resin in there too. Well-bodied for a mid-alcohol brew, with moderately long finish of bitter yeast.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle- Pours a cloudy straw color with a small head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of citrus with some malt sweetness. Citrus taste with a malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, smooth and fairly bland. Drinkable, at least it is a bit more robust thaan most of the light beers on the market.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2012 It is drinkable, probably very drinkable if you don’t mind drinking slightly malty water that tastes mildly of beer. I’m not sure who drinks this. May be people who are getting themselves through a big night eg a rugby team who are downing jugs Inbetwen shots of tequila. It is boring boring beer! Invest in something tasty, other wise yes it is a very good option for a night when you are chugging back beer by the litre.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2012 Poured a cloudy pale amber colour with a centimeter thick white foamy head that disappeared moderately quickly. Patchy lacing. Lots of bubble trails. Aroma of mild hops, yeast and malt. Taste initially of sweet malt then slight yeast then with a slight hops bitterness. Carbonation gives it a tingle feel over the tongue. Thin body. Dry on palate. Long slightly bitter and metalic finish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: APR 29, 2012 Bottle. I thought mild was a reference to the low ABV, this tasted like an inoffensive golden ale to me. Pale gold with plenty of fizz, a touch of sweet malts and bitter finish. Forgettable.
