"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body, medium head. Dry malty/yeasty aroma. Sweet malty taste with more yeast than hops. Boring and easily forgettable.

Blond session beer, bottle fermented. Yellowish white, moussy, stable head, colour misty golden blonde, turning a murky ochre after adding the deposit. Shy aroma of grassy hops, white pepper, dough and a hint of green apple. Dry grainy, bit doughy taste, yeasty, very faint fruity accents, metallic, finishing a bit watery. Bit dull.

My favourite Aussie beer. Cloudy pale coloured beer, it’s not your typical pale ale. Not super charged with hops like american or indian pales, rather it is an easy drinking larger packed with flavour. From the bottle this beer must be rolled on its side before opening to get the full flavour of the beer. Otherwise it is a waste and not consumed in the way it was designed to be. Not so much a sampler but one to drink over a session.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a very small head. A lot of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is sweet with some fruits and bubblegum notes. Taste is very mild. Sweetish at first, then some moderate bitterness, and finally a short bittersweet finish. Quite watery mouthfeel. Medium CO2. A decent thirst quencher, but quite tasteless. (375ml bottle, best before 13nov 2015).

Bottle Pours dark , clear blonde . Small, instantly fading white head Smell is sweet, caramel maltyness . High carbo . Rather weak taste, surprisingly . Caramely-sweet malts ( which is nice ) with an overpowering bitterness , yet not that hoppy ( chemical ??? ) . Aftertaste has the malts again. Taste is a bit of a let down here . Less bitterness, and less carbo , would make this a lot better

Bottle received as a gift from a friend. Visually appealing hazy light yellow with a small white head. Taste and aroma is mostly pale ale malts and there’s a carbonated feel to the palate. For free beer it’s not awfully horrible but I won’t be putting any of my money in it.

djoeye (1535) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 11, 2014
Bubbly bright golden body with very modest head on. Pale malts, berries, fruits, grass carefully to the nose. Normal hops and bread-ish malts to the tongue, some fruity dark bread hints, and taste moves towards bread with hops still playing through postludium. Normal body. Pilsner-ic crispy on palate. Impression was more pilsener than pale ale. Though, fresh and alright anyway. [37.5cl br btl abv4.5%, B@K Citymarket Skanssi Turku FIN]

Bottle from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Hazy lemon-gold with no head and almost no fizz. Just a regular, tasty pale ale but without any particularly distinct flavours; metallic/carbonated texture. Refreshing and pleasant but nothing special.

Picked one of these up from my local imported beer shop, knowing next to nothing about it I bought it in good faaith that it would at least be decent. Instead I was met with by a below average pale ale, rather bitter and not much at all in the way of interest. I just about inished it, if it was cheaper I would probably have poured half of it away. Most commonly available budget bottled bitters available in the supermarket are more enjoyable than this.
