"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

Not Too Bad - nice hop level. Head does not persist. Cloudiness in the glass does not detract from the taste of the ale. A classic pale ale - deserves to be drunk frequently and in quantity.

An effervescent brew that makes a good alternative to the bog standard Australian lager (albeit, that is not saying much).

Pours hazy deep gold with moderate white head. A sharp first taste, a little bit of bitterness. Some taste of apples, fruits. Bitterness dies away fast. I thought this was ok, nice enough to drink so that I might even buy it again.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy golden with lots of residue and lots of bubbles. Thin quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is old hops, bread, hint of vomit. Taste is malt, hops, yeast. Unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Watery.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 375ml bottle served in the tulip glass. A: Pours a hazy yellow to baige color forming a medium bubbled white head which dissipates quite quickly leaving pratically no lacings S: Quite grainy in the nose. Good touch of flowery hops and bready yeasts T: Follows the nose. Quite grainy in the mouth. Upfront is made of a light sweet malts taste, followed by nice hops and a bready taste. Bready yeasts which are very Coopers trademark (the ones that use the Coopers Kits to homebrew will know what I mean :)) M: Light body. Sparkling carbonation. Aftertaste is made of mainly malts and flowery hops. Mild bitterness O: Classic Pale Ale. A session Ale for hot wheater. Simple but pleasant. Quite average... [ BA Review @ 11/24/2012 ]

Bottle from Sugaya. Yeasty nose, with light grain and grass. Hazy honey/straw color. Grain, light bittering, touch of cardboard, and very fizzy. Thin-medium body. Slightly harsh overall. Okay.

"not a favorite. i dog the stout from Coopers, but the others have been hot and miss, this being a miss. not very lively on the palate. bland sweet malts, thinnish, with some bitterness. better aroma, but not worth another shot."
