COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.
"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

Nice clean drink but seemed like something was missing, might be a good summer beer on a hot day but not a good dinner beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from appellation wines. Nose of honeycomb, light malts, apricot. Zingy and refreshing on the palate, crisp, dry finish.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, yellow gold with a short white head. Yeast, lemon, grain aroma. Taste is a little bready and oxidized....grain malt, slightly tart fruit....mild grassy bitter..... Not bad, just a bit dull.....I’d like to find a fresher bottle...strangely, the label says "best after 23/01/2015".....I suppose because of the bottle conditioning.....but still, kind of an open-ended date stamp.

Smell zesty nettles, that’s the good bit, some hair spray and a little pilsner lager. Carbonation is,, well don’t go near it with mentos anyway. Tastes as it smells but the hair spray is replaced with paracetamol.

3.6€. Son seul attrait est son origine australienne, mais on ne bondit pas d’enthousiasme (référence au kangourou). Tout juste un petit goût amer en fin de bouche. Trouble avec le dépôt.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Does not leave a lasting impression. Good thirst quencher on a hot sunny day, but tastes are pretty anonymous.

Pours fizzy light pale yellow with a medium frothy white head. Aromas of rye bread, citrus, maize starch, cellar. Taste is Danny and artificial with hardly any bitterness. Mouthfeel is watery and bland with medium carbonation and a light body.

Had it from a bottle. Not much personality. Also not that bitter. Possible to notice it is industrialized/mass production. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375 ml bottle bought at Market Place by Jason’s in K11, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Cloudy hazy straw golden colour with a crust of yeast sediments; One finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with very fizzy small carbonation; Pungent sweet aroma of Ale malt, with initial skunk (lasted 2 minutes), strong citrus peels, meat broth, floral, sugar, strong lemon and raw grass; Light sweet taste of light ale malt, with light floral, carbo, molasses notes, light biscuits, strong yeast, light lemon, very light bitter hops and light grass; Close to light body, thin palate; Mouth feel is straight-forward light Pale maltyness in a thin background. Strongly carboed aside there’s very little fruity taste, just some fair floral and hints of sugar. Lots of yeast but biscuit taste is fair at best. Light lemon to round. Pretty vacant… Hoppiness is initial skunk, strong citrus peels, floral and lemon in nose. Light lemon, floral and light grass in taste. Bitterness is very light for an abrupt, low-astringent lemon water non-finish; Slightly dry after taste. Watery and light bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is a cheapo Macro Golden Ale, with unfiltered yeast serves as the fifth wheel to distract drinkers how average this beer really is: thin malt bordering on Happoshu’s level, meat broth aroma, flat hoppiness and minimal taste. Only the strong carbo save this from being beer water. Very close anyway. Never again!
