COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.
"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

12.7-oz bottle. Cloudy dark yellow color with a small fizzy head that disappears rapidly. Aroma is lightly malty, yeasty with light apricot notes. Flavor is moderately sweet and with some sourness. Hop taste is diminished. Clean finish. Body is light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Has the feel of a wheat beer. Overall it’s a nice beer. But there is nothing remarkable about it. It’s not really a pale ale though. What is it really?

Pale gold, a bit hazy. Medium head with large bubbles and some retention. Citric aroma plus yeast. Bitter taste, not many notes standing out. Light body, good carbonation. Almost a lager, not what I expected.

Hazy and yellow with a big white head - looks like a murky tripel. Thin body, light aroma. Tastes include honey and herbs. OK.

A personal favorite session beer. Cloudy and vibrant on tap or from a bottle. A good level of bitterness. Hard to find outside Australia but becoming more popular in Europe now

Pours a cloudy pale orange with a white head that dissipates quickly. Earthy yeast aroma. Pleasant sweetness with hints of green apple. Bitterness is spot on.

Opaque yellow, no foam. Barley aroma, some vegetable notes. Probably the voyage from down under did not do this beer any good. (Velp 201504)

anstei (188) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 17, 2015
375ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden with medium head. Slightly hoppy smell, but also a bit metallic. The taste is mostly killed by carbonization, and what’s left over tastes quite unlike a pale ale.
