2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy gold with no head. Sweet malt aromas with hints of honey. Sweet & sour malt flavours with a solid bitterness and some astringency in the finish. Full bodied and spritely carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle from a fathers day selection, served cold, poured carefully to retain the sediment in the bottle. Hazy amber with no head. Fruity biscuit aroma. More of the hefeweizen vibe that came with it’s Pale Ale brother, but this is more robust; Almost Belgian, if lacking spicy notes. Bubblegum just floated past, increasing the hefeweizen resemblance. Quite full bodied. My second odd-but-good-but-not-great experience from this brewery. A million times better than Fosters

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Deep golden clear. Malty, slight cream malty, honey corn nose. Med bodied, bit murky malty, slight old leafy I like the soft moutfeel, the malty feeling, but flavour-wise it’s a bit boring.

Dorada clara, con algo de sedimento. Abundante espuma. Aroma malteado y ligeramente cítrico. Carbónica como anuncia el nombre. Cuerpo moderado. Frutal con el alcohol presente, y también malteada semidulce. Final ligeramente herbal. Buena y equilibrada.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 2/20
It is sparkling but it’s also gross. Pours pale copper with champagne like bubbles. Smells like something is wrong. Tastes like ethanol, nail polish remover, and bandaids. My guess is that they used way too much white sugar in this beer. It’s not a very strong beer but it tastes like rubbing alcohol. I can’t believe they sell home-brew kits for this stuff. I’d rather drink anything else than this!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.375 l bottle from Alko. Golden cloudy appearance, with almost no head at all but lots of carbonation and bubbles, hence the name Sparkling Ale. Taste has malts and hops and something else... maybe the yeast in the bottle? Pour this thing carefully, since there is lots of sediment in the bottom of the bottle.

Rated based on notes from 24 May 2012 -- Aussie beer! Solid beer, better than the stuff I drank when I visited, dumb younger self should have sought out the best of what Australia had to offer!

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden color beer with a very small white head that goes away immediately. Aroma is very malty with citric and hop notes. Flavor is predominantly bitter with some sweetness combined. Body is medium and carbonation is very high. The end is long and marked by the carbonation well felt.
