COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

would be a great session beer. hazy amber, aroma of baked bread. hasa nice sweet malt taste with a bitter hop finish. smooth soft palate carbonation is perfect, bubbly enough to be refreshing but not fizzy.

Sediment gives a cloudy appearance to this unique ale. I can’t think of another ale like this one. Recommended and better than, erm, Fosters!

A tad bit cloudy golden amber color, frothy white head and decent lace. Nose is malt and a bit citrus, clean and fresh. Front is malt sweet, the top is light, the finish is acidic, dry, nicely hopped and has moderate carbonation, a decent beer.

Straw color with slight chill/protein haze. Minimal head. Spritzy feel, with fruity, oaky flavors. A good light pale.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2004 getting much worse lately, POR, alcohol, acid yeastiness, thin fruit, fizzy with no head, even paler than it used to be, although every now and again a bottle surprises me by being fruity and mellow and belgian. i do not understand why this is

Don’t blink or you will miss the head. Heavy sediment. Some what a bland aroma. Nice flavor but I didn’t get the fruity flavors that others report. A nice crisp feel with a pleasing aftertaste. A bit light for an ale. Started ice cold in a frosty mug, seemed to mask the flavors, became tastier as it warmed. Much better than the Hahn’s I had earlier today.

Probably my favourite beer now, with the inconsistancy in the quality of pale ale of late. Maybe not quite as smooth as pale but a little more fruitier and more consistant in quality.

oaky/woody charactersitics, nice subtle fruit flavours (pears), with a smooth slightly hoppy finish, yummy.

This is a great Aussie beer, with a fruity palate and smooth bitterness on the finish.
