Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Bottle from Earl. Thanks! Pours cloudy light orange to amber color with thin white head that disappeared quickly. Aroma is nice hops, orange, perhaps hint of some spices. Flavor is hops, cardboard. Thin body. Medium carbonation. Slightly dry aftertaste.

375ml bottle, 5.8% BB Sep 2016. Hazy orange, sparkling (no surprises there), big foam whipped cream head endures. Aroma is faint strawberry, clove, toffee and yeast. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, foamy. Taste is caramel, strawberry boiled sweets, musty malts, citrus / grapefruit finish. This has quite a lot going for it. It looks great, but then I poured the sediment in as suggested by the bottle - makes it look shit and doesn’t influence the flavour. Would advise pouring slowly.

BAD 1/26/14. Pours a hazy amber. Normal head volume, lacing and retention. Nice light fruit (pear, lemon, apple) notes coupled with yeast over biscuit. Light medium body with a smooth texture that has creamy notes. Superb carbonation with a nice effervescent burst from the middle on and a nice prickly finish. The outstanding flavor profile is reasonably intense, complex and very well balanced. It begins with a blend of fruit flavor that flows into a mild herbal bitterness in the middle. As the bitterness begins to fade, biscuit rises to balance along with a distinct plum flavor. The finish is a bit crisp and rather clean. A light herbal hop flavored bitterness lingers.

Pours a hazy gold with no head. Sweet malt aromas with hints of honey. Sweet & sour malt flavours with a solid bitterness and some astringency in the finish. Full bodied and spritely carbonation.

330ml bottle from a fathers day selection, served cold, poured carefully to retain the sediment in the bottle. Hazy amber with no head. Fruity biscuit aroma. More of the hefeweizen vibe that came with it’s Pale Ale brother, but this is more robust; Almost Belgian, if lacking spicy notes. Bubblegum just floated past, increasing the hefeweizen resemblance. Quite full bodied. My second odd-but-good-but-not-great experience from this brewery. A million times better than Fosters

Bottle. Deep golden clear. Malty, slight cream malty, honey corn nose. Med bodied, bit murky malty, slight old leafy I like the soft moutfeel, the malty feeling, but flavour-wise it’s a bit boring.

Dorada clara, con algo de sedimento. Abundante espuma. Aroma malteado y ligeramente cítrico. Carbónica como anuncia el nombre. Cuerpo moderado. Frutal con el alcohol presente, y también malteada semidulce. Final ligeramente herbal. Buena y equilibrada.
