Europeans should spare a thought for us Aussies who have the vilest swill thrust upon us as premium beer. Believe me, this beer is delicious compared to the usual Australian "favourites" such as VB, XXXX Gold, Carlton Dry, Whatever Ice etc. Long live Coopers Ale!

The sparkler is an Aussie classic, being one of the few Australian beers that led the way before beer became trendy and the microbreweries hit the market. Yeasty bread and very mellow aromas are backed up with a similar subtle flavour profile. Nice long, medium bitter finish. It may not have the flavours of the 'modern' craft beers, but it's still a good drop when it's put into the context of Australian beer history.

Smells malty, toast and hay. Clear golden color with a foamy white head. Not particularly flavorful but it is cool and refreshing, nice on a hot day!

It is a good beer. A little bit sparkling at the aftertaste, mixed with fruity taste.

Overall: nice beer but too thin and not especially great taste, drinkable

Bottle@home, 375 ml. Head: off-white. Colour: hazy, golden. Aroma: fruity (apples, pears). Taste: medium bitter. Palate: dry, medium bitter finish. Overall: nice.

Slight wheat-beer-like notes in the aroma, yeast, tiny bit of malt, no hops.
Taste and mouthfeel are a real letdown. No better than the macro slosh you can get at the discount supermarket.

A mild tasting ale with hints of orange and flowers. A little dry. Overall quite subtle so good for a few.

Really solid ale, especially if you’re lucky enough to get the bottom of the barrel stuff - makes it even cloudier. Lovely aromas, and rich full taste - treat with respect!
