dmac (800), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Apr 27, 2008 12.7 oz bottle drank at the Outback. Well after it was served in the frozen glass I waited and waited for it to warm up. It finally did and then I scratched my head in wonder why 1. I waited for this to warm up and 2. whiy I ordered a beer at the Outback in the first place?? Well this one was just a cloudy murky yellowish/orangey/amber with a fizzy white head. Aroma, upon warming, was lots of grain, slight sweetness. Palate was thin except for the stinging carbonation that was so aggresive I thought it might actually be able to breathe some life into the New York Knicks. Flavor was grain and bread. The only thing memorable about this beer was the odd size bottle, 12.7 oz, an extra .7 oz I like it.
cheapdark (1532), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 This 12.7 oz bottle is an interestingly shaped brown with a twist off cap.Pleasant yeasty olfactory. In the looks department, if starts off pale yellow but then morphs into a beautiful swirling hazy chunky gunk laden brew from the sludge on the bottom. It looks like there is a teaspoon of pepper in the bottom of my drink. Very nice carbonation, and I like it. Its creamy and fizzy yet very enjoyable. The look of this stuff sitting in the glass is somewhat viscous with the slowly rising carbonation. Pale ale bite of hops. Linger after each sip. Finish is lingering bitter on the back of the throat. IMHO a good example of an ale. You’d never know this stuff was close to 6% in alky, way too laid back. Ober (219), Best, Netherlands Jul 22, 2008 A hazy/unclear golden colored beer, with a nice foamy white head. It disappears soon. The aroma is fresh, fruity like citrus. It’s also light floral. The taste of fruity citrus with a nice bitterness. The bitterness stays for awhile. Not bad at all. Edgekrusher (14), , USA Jul 21, 2008 Sparkling Ale? Tasty beer, but I’m certain it would make me sick if I was to drink more than a couple. Seems to be very high in carbonation. Tastes more like club soda than beer. Gary__ (36), London, Greater London, England Jul 12, 2008 Updated: Jul 16, 2008. Coopers Sparkling Ale is like a mix between a UK pale ale & a wheat-bier style. There was a shitload of sediment swimming around the glass & that’s cool. Lots of fruity tastes.I got apples and bananas.Similar to the banana flavours in german wheats. I could drink loads of this one. Maverick34 (427), New York, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottled. Orangey w/medium head. Kind of flavorless but drinkable in the hot.
