Frauditor (130), Hagerstown, Maryland, USA Mar 24, 2007 average tasting ale.. it’s the ale that they push at outback, not too special. no real tongue-catching flavors could be found
marcus (1192), Sacramento, California, USA Jan 1, 2009 This amber ale poured with a thick off-white head and a yellow apple aroma. There is a decent roasted malt flavor with some hop bitterness at the finish. kamish (92), Lake Stevens, Washington, USA Dec 29, 2008 pretty dang good for a brew with sparkling in the name. jhliesen (377), West Melbourne, Florida, USA Dec 22, 2008 Bottle---Large white head on a gold body and a large amount of carbonation. Some citrus aroma and taste with a bit of hops thrown in. Not bad, but easily forgetable. Produce place. BMan1113VR (1320), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Dec 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours with a largish white head that collapses but leaves some decent lacing. Clear golden body. Aroma of straw, grass honey and ovens at a bakery. Taste is stale and a bit skunky with some light fruits. Fizzy mouth. EFC1878 (176), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Dec 13, 2008 Updated: Dec 20, 2008Bottle from Oddbins. Poured clear dark gold with non-existent head. Alcohol in the aroma but little else. The taste was so nondescript I chucked the sediment in to try to improve things - fat chance. Where does the sparkling tag come from? Very flat on the tongue and thin tasting. Possibly a bad bottle but I can’t imagine risking another.
