BeerZack (116), Austin, Texas, USA May 6, 2008 Cloudy (more or less depending on how much sediment you pour into the glass) golden-orange color with small ring of head.
Sweet malty and estery scents. Some banana, marshmallow, slight caramel, bit of apple, maybe cherry.
Not too much in the taste department, comes of pretty light and a tad watery. Bit of citrus and spice stand out from a lightly diacetyl malt background.
Lively, crisp feel, despite the name, the carbonation could be more aggressive, but still pretty strong. Almost like a mini/watery Duvel.
gwelch925 (28), Northern, Kentucky, USA Jul 5, 2008 Coopers Sparkling Ale pours a cloudy and sedimented orange with a good sized head. The aroma is nothing to write home about just a touch of malt. The taste is also disappointing with a light malt and hop flavors. I would not recommend this brew. rmussman (673), California, USA Jun 30, 2008 Quite impressed with this brew. Served cold it has a nice sediment to it that gives it good hoppy flavors. A very good brew in the afternoon. Guinness4Duff (384), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a white head. Mild citrus aroma lies over other sweeter fruit notes. Taste is mild, a little sweetness and some fruit notes up front with light bitter finish. A decent beer. Linus_Stick (1458), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 29, 2008 Wow this was hard to suck down. The only way to do it was in big gulps. Aroma was OK. Light malt with nothing else. Pour was a flat thick gold with no head. The only reason AP got a 3 was the great sediment in the glass (I’m a sucker for sediment). Taste was awful. Tasted like one of the Bad Elf series. Strong sweet sugary malt, thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Strong somewhat fishy aftertaste. Blah. azlondon (455), Greater London, England Jun 26, 2008 Updated: Jun 27, 2008Appearance: Very cloudy with sediments, little head, sewage colour.
Aroma: Fruity, hint of malt.
Taste: Does not taste much. Bitter aftertaste.
