COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

"a little spicy and earthy in the aroma. not a lot of follow through on the taste. nothing offensive at all, but a simple session beer at best. probably wonít try this one again, either. just the stout and vintage from Coopers have been "good"."

0.375L bottle. Floral and hop aroma. Hazy orange color, small tiny hat, stays. Caramel strawberry candy, some summer flowers, sour yeast, little grassy, malt and cereal aftertaste. Wheat taste mouth feel.

Bottle purchased from Bacchus Wines, Olney. Golden brown and cloudy, with a quickly dissipating white head. Toast, malt, tropical fruit, spruce and a bit of bubblegum in the aroma. Bittersweet taste with a touch of savoury woodiness. Caramel, honey and bitter herb flavours. Short bitter finish. Light mouthfeel but lots of lively carbonation on the palette. You know, this isnít bad.

Dry and malty, but only a bit. Subtle hints of orange and hops make for a relatively good effort.

Decent hazy gold pour w/ a thin white head that leaves lacing. The aroma is nearly nonexistent - a little malty & a lot boring! The taste is too clean & finishes a touch metallic. The body & mouthfeel is good for the style but there isnít much else to praise here. Not very good!

Troebel geel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en kruidig, caramel, drop, echter iets waterig. Blijft redelijk lang hangen. Goed bier.

Hazy dark yellow colour with thin white head. Not really tasty, some citrous and dry ending. Easy to drink but not really interesting.

Hazy golden colour with yeasty sediment and a white head. The aroma is fruity and spicy. The taste is fruity - bitter orange marmalade and apple - with a harsh hoppiness which quickly fades in the mouth. Not very full in the mouth but quite refreshing. At least it is better than Fosterís. Reminds me slightly of the bottle-fermented Worthington White Shields that we used to drink in the 1970ís.

Yeasty, caramel aroma, lightly sweet, amber color, white head, bottle conditioned beer

The best known Australian beer I guess, with yellowish white, moussy foam and misty, deep golden blonde colour. Rather weak aroma, grassy hops, pear, banana, also a bit lightstruck. Light malty taste, on the dry side, metallic like their Original Pale Ale, finishing hoppier than the latter but still rather thin and at times even a bit watery.
