COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Pours clear gold. Taste of malts, a little bit bread and some floral notes. Just a very brief bite of bitterness. Overall, not offensive, but not memorable either. A nice Coopers ale to drink, regardless.

One breeze of wind from oz. Like someone diving with equipment in the glass. Bubbles and sand everywhere. Taste is interesting mix of fruity garden mixed with walk on the grass.

An underrated and priceworthy ale which has a good mix between hops and malt.

Found a bottle in de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is gold/yellow colored a pours a small white head, with average carbonation. The aroma is a mixture of hops, malts and yeast notes, but also the sweetness of different fruits is noticable. The taste is medium bodied, light bitter and spicy, but overall it´s a little watery. Though the taste is very refreshing which is good for a warm country like Australia. The finish is light bitter and refreshing.

750ml bottle into pint glass. Light malt/acidic nose. Cloudy golden beer with solid two finger head. Nice lightly spritzy mouthfeel, good bitterness. Finish develops through sharp bitterness to floral notes, even a little bubblegum, then back to a slightly lingering citric end. One of Australia’s great beers.

Couleur orangée trouble, mousse qui disparait, pas mal de dépots. Nez malté, sucré, note de miel. Gout malté doux, herbes, notes miel et levures. Corps assez leger. Pas trop gouteuse....

375ml bottle (rolled before serving). Pours cloudy light golden with an ample loose white head. Aroma and flavour is light bready malts with subtle fruity hops and a trace of yeasty spiciness. Palate is spritely and refreshing with a medium body and light bitterness to the finish. Does it job nicely. It’s longevity and importance as a gateway beer for further investigation of craft brews in Australia should not be underestimated.

Kauge (445) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 24, 2015
Bottle at Tops in Tallinn. Coppery colour, hazy, practically no head. Loads of bubbling going on still after a while. Nose is caramel, lemonade, floral hops. Taste is overall caramelly, sweet malts in the front and harsh herbal kind of bitterness in the finish. Wouldn’t say it’s balanced. Carbonation very intense. An easy drinker but not a very enjoyable one.
