Batch No. 4-OCT/2002. Aromas of dark fruit and caramel. Translucent ripe apricot color, and the white head evaporated immediately. Medium mouthfeel. Fairly low carbonation. The start is malty sweetness, quickly followed by stone fruit notes. The finish is well balanced between fruit and hop. However, the finish is not strongly bitter. It’s really interesting. Something like a high alcohol British ale.

Rather highly carbonated, but still rather oily. Flavour is high on sweetish caramel, light dark fruits with a fine hoppy bitterness. Long, lingering and slightly alcoholic aftertaste.
