COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our stout is full-bodied and dark. We use a generous amount of roasted malts to give this a hearty flavor. The use of oats in the mash gives our stout a creamy-mouth feel which is enhanced by a fine head from nitrogenation instead of carbonation. This beer is an acquired taste for the traditional American beer drinker but soon becomes a favorite for the adventuresome. 6.2% ABV

A pretty basic stout. Plenty of roasted malts, lots of coffee and some chocolate sweetness. Tried at the brewery with the parents in 2013.

Poured on site. Lots of coffee on the nose, some roundness on the mouth from the oats. It’s not bad, but it’s certainly not very memorable.

Pour on tap at the brewpub, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of roast, oat, some coffee, hints of caramel, dark cocoa powder, slight nutty notes as well. Taste is a mix of lactose, oat, some chocolate, coffee, and roast notes, hints of slight earth, spice, and caramel, finishing slightly sweet, slightly bitter.

Draft at Coopersmith’s. pours black with big chocolate milk head that lasts forever. Aroma is chocolate roasty burnt malt s’mores, not smooth, it doesn’t really come together.

On fucken nitro @ Coopersmith. Black pour with a dense tan head. Smells of roast, dirt, and coffee. Water, earth, and a hint of metal. Meh. Flavor is pretty much just dirt. Bitter, earthy, and coffee grounds. Roasted malt, cocoa, and some metal.

Tap. The smell is roast, coffee, chocolate, malt, and oats. The look is dark, black in color, with a tan head. The taste is weaker, chocolate, malts, coffee, and oatmeal.

Clear black with a thin light beige creamy head. Aroma of light chocolaty bubblegum, and little else. Flavor is slightly more complex with some roasty milk chocolate tones, light bubblegum, and a little bit of light coffee. A little too light on the palate but enjoyable to sip on.
