does not count  Jul 6, 2002 This is easily one of the best stouts I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Creamy, dark, rich and slightly sweet. Nice clean finish with a hint of acidic tartness. Served at the proper slightly chilled temperature. The perfect match for the incredible Pub Burger I had to accompany it.

Jun 22, 2003 Dark black, with creamy tan head.Roated malt aromas rise out of the glass and fill your nose with Stout heaven. Really impressive,silkyness/creamy stout body, just slides down your throat like a dozen fresh oysters.

Dec 16, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Pours a mostly opaque black with dark brown edges and a stringy-lacing dark tan head. Semi-sweet dark chocolate nose has a lot of roasted maltiness and some doughiness. Body has pretty good malty sweetness and viscosity with some dark caramel and chocolate flavors along with a touch of dark fruits. A very nice sweet stout.

Jan 6, 2007 Draught from the brewpub poured into sampler - Pours dark red amber with a malty tan head that lasts and leaves nice lacing head; Coffee, milk and dark chocolate, and roasted malt to the nose; Coffee, roasted malt, milk chocolate, and milk on the initial taste; Malt, coffee, and a bitter roast backtaste; Nice creamy medium palate; Light carbonation; Very impressive. Great stuff!
