2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap. Pours with a small head, body is dark dark yellow. Aroma is play-dough and hops. Taste is dominated by corn, as expected. There was an attempt to cover up some of this with hefty hopping, which may be the best part of this beer. Slight oxidation detected anyways. What Bud might taste like if they tried a little harder.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight grain, spice and grass notes, touch of earthy bitterness but not much going on with this. Taste is a mix of biscuit, slight lemon and grass, touch of spice and earth bittering, finishing fairly clean. Eh.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2012 Tap @ brewery. Orange brown appearance with an off white head. Amber malty nose. Sweet, slightly fruity amber malty beer with a touch of sourness. Doesn’t taste like other revolutionary ales but still tasty.

Draught at brewery. Pours bronze with a patcky off-white head, edgy. Malty (corn, meal) aroma with faint molasses and slight hop notes. Corn malt, yeast (cardboard, paper sack) flavor, medium acidity that dries the palate, medium sweetness. Light to medium bodied, and dry, fizzy palate.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had this at the brewery. Beer was a clear, light-brown color with a small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing head. The aroma was a little odd. It had trace malt notes of toasted grain and caramel, a light hop note of icky perfume-like flowers and a trace yeasty note of bread with a teeny trace peach ester tucked toward the back. All in all, pretty blank. The flavor is heavily sweet, moderately bitter with an average-length, lightly bitter finish with a sweet, unclean lingering finish. The body was light-to-medium, the texture was watery, the carbonation was fizzy and the finish had a moderatly alcoholic feel to it. Hum. Nothing that revolutionary here.
