Draft at SBV. Tasted 7/11/09. Pours a nice white head over a golden orange body....nose is heavy grapefruit and resin...taste is heavy bitter grapefruit with a milder bittering pine/ floral hop finish. A fairly typical American style IPA.

Draft at brewery Aug ’08: Poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was hops and sweet malts. The flavor was hoppy but smooth and ended well with a nice bitter taste. Overall, a good IPA.

Cask @ Brewery - This is delicious! Has kind of a sugary sweet maltiness, with lots of juicy fruitiness. Tastes really fresh and clean, with an earth dry malt body. Great lignering bitter finish.

On tap at the brewery. Candy malt with slight hop note aroma. Very malty and slippery body with a lemon candy flavor surround by Cascade hops in the finish and through it with a decent lingering. Could use a little body.

I had the cask conditioned version of this beer - hand drawn from Old English tap that used compressed air (basically nitrogen). Excellent aroma of mild hops and very smooth to drink.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Poured a copper color with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops and some caramel malts. Opens up with a nice caramel malt backbone that carries a nice, grapefruit hop hit that leaves a bitter finish. Nice body and easy drinking. Would have guess that this was APA rather than an IPA, but good none the less.

On cask at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Pours a transparent copper orange with a frothy, nicely-lacing dense creamy off-white head. Aroma of fairly fresh grapefruity hops and a sweet caramel malty undertone. Body is pretty full and smooth with a mild bittering and flavor hop character and some lightly sweet toasty pale malt. Very smooth and incredibly drinkable, just not that assertive for an IPA.
