[Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] Clear amber, brief head. Strong hop aroma of lychee and apples. The clean, very hard mouthfeel induces metallic notes and reduces malt flavour to a minimum. Salty finish with lingering bitterness.

Lingering bitterness, chewy malt and enough complexity to keep it all going.

(12oz bottle) Hazy golden body with big off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, pine/grapefruit, caramel, some peach, light lemon peel. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, peach, some grapefruit/orange -- much less bitter than the aroma suggests. Medium body, undercarbonated.

bhensonb (9093) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Bottle from Half Time. Pours copper with a slight white head. Smells like dusty citrus. Med body. Flavor is strange - hint of sour/citrus, maybe a bit of floral, sweetish caramel, and a bit of cardboard in the finish.

hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 9, 2007
Bottle… Clear golden ale with a huge, rocky, white head. Terrific retention. Nice, malty nose of toffee and toasted grain with plenty of earthy hops thrown into the boil. The flavor has a solid caramel malt backbone that lends support to the wildly generous addition of bitter hops. This beer is heavily sweet and heavily bitter for near-perfect balance. Full-bodied and downright syrupy with medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter-sweet finish that hints at fuzzy fruit. A shout goes out to growler for giving me the bottle!

Ratman197 (7761) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2011
Bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of bread, floral notes, citrus and light mint. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, citrus light pine and a hint of mint with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

JoeMcPhee (7671) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 3, 2011
Very hazy amber orange pour. The aroma is a little bit oxidized. Orange peel and honeyed malts. Sticky palate but intensely bitter. Medicinal and pithy and really not good at all. Definite QC issues here.

CaptainCougar (7107) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - OCT 23, 2007
Clear orange bronze pour has a nicely-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of lightly caramely toasty malt and grapefruity hops. Starts pretty full and slightly grainy malty with some earthy bittering and flavor hops. Finishes bittersweet and fairly mild for an IPA, otherwise, it’s pretty drinkable.

3fourths (7063) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 9, 2003
The head on this thing is huge... mass amounts of lacing stick to the side of the glass like cobwebs. The aroma is a mixture of sugar candies, peaches and grass. The tastes is pretty much the same, with an empty aluminum flavor added for extra enjoyment. Overall it's pretty dang mild.
