Well crafted beer, nice head and lacing. Very sharp taste to the back of your throat and a tad bitter at the end, but I still like it, packs some punch.

APPEARANCE- dark yellow w slight orang hue. Nice head and a lot of effervescent bubbles. NOSE- light hop scent, somewhat fruity, but not overly so. FLAVOR- well balanced between hop & malt. Not overly hoppy, and goodalt backbone for the flavor.

A small one finger thick white head sits on top of a beautiful clear amber liquid. This head settles down to thin cap which make for some spotty slick lace on the glass. It has a modest nose with some hints of sugary sweet lemon aid like citrus notes over pale white bready notes. The flavor starts with a base of sweet bready malt with hints of caramel/toffee, Butterfinger like, candy mixed in. Hop flavor adds juicy lemony citrus notes that fade into bitter piney hop notes that hang onto the palate and last well into the finish. The body has a good medium feel with nicely balanced carbonation.

Bottle shared at Mivshelet Ha’Am for Dagan’s birthday. Hazy amber with a big frothy white head. Floral hops aroma with a bit of malt. Sweetish flavor with some malt and a moderately bitter finish, floral and a bit citric. Medium-bodied.

Pours a hazy golden amber. Pours with a tall head but fast fading. The head is white and soapy looking. Carbonation is pretty aggressive. Aroma is pretty good for an EIPA; light hops and caramel malts. There are low levels of diaceyl in the taste, not an issue here.Light fruitiness just before the finish. Finish is tart and dry. Medium in weight smooth drinking with a clean finish. Overall its a good beer. I think its a bit too tart for an EIPA.

All of the Cooperstown beers have been overcarbonted but this piece of crap gushed half of the bottle all over the counter as soon as I had started to open it. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with an enormous fluffy orange white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was tart, chalk and Sweettart candies. The flavor was very tart and dry with prominent chalk, Sweettart candies and Pez candied. Light body and hideously overcarbonated. Piece of crap.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2012 12 oz bottle - Cloudy orange with a lingering white foam head. Smells a bit like a Belgian, but not listed as such. Citrus and herbs aroma. Tastes a bit like bubblegum? A bit dry to the tongue, if that makes sense. Interesting beer. Very unique. I like it.
