Bottle from Half Time. Pours very dark brown with a creamy/foamy beige/tan head. Aromas of chocotate and burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is quite bitter. That might be burnt malt, hop or coffee. Whichever itís dry and bitter in the finish.Chocolate notes persist throughout.

Bottle. Very good porter. Pours a dark brown, almost black, with a thin though thick beige head. It subsides quickly but does leave significant lacing. Aroma is light, notes of caramel and roasted malts, and just hints of coffee. Flavor is restrained yet satisfying. Strong malt backbone, moderate sweetness. Dry and lightly smokey in the finish. Very mild bitterness, some stickiness. Body is medium, the alcohol seems to add some nice depth but isnít really perceivable - which to me is good. The flavor would benefit from a bit more complexity, but overall this is a strong example.

Thank you Coldbrewky/Steve for this one! Itís dark brown with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, light sweetness, caramel and hints of nuts. The flavour is slightly sweet with notes of roasted malt, a grapefruit-like hoppy bitterness, caramel and a hint of nuts. Itís a light and "friendly" porter

This beer rocks! Beautiful, sparkling clear, ruby/burnt orange ale with a medium-sized, creamy, light beige head. Terrific retention and thick, creamy, weeping lacework. Milk chocolate and vanilla in the aroma and flavor. Some minor toasted nuts in there as well. Well-bittered for perfect balance. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish! Definitely world class stuff! This beer should get up off the bench and bat cleanup!

A serviceable porter. Black with tons of foam that was a delight on the palate. Nearly burnt coffee ground tarish aroma, sounds worse than it was. Average taste with significant burnt coffee bitter sediment, perhaps as it approached March expiration.
