1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a one finger frothy white head that left some spotty lacing. The nose is pretty much all butter with just a little pale malt. Tons of butter on the flavor as well and not much else. Light bodied and slick in texture with a clingy finish. Garbage.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden with a good clarity, good head, and good lace... good looking beer eh? Aroma is faint and mildly floral. Flavor on the other hand is mild but well nuanced. Lightly hoppy flavors with a mild but pleasant graininess with some rose water hints..

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance has short-lived head. Clear honey-golden color. Carbonation visible. Able to see right through it, but doesnít look light or thin. Some pretty good lace.
Smell is dry malt, like a typical ale. Has a slightly toaste aroma. Also has a ncie, honey-coated sweetness. Flowery. Very good. Sweetly pilsnerish. Dry bitter ale malt topped with a sweet, flowery sweetness. Some honey and butterscotch (slightly). Sweetness is really pleasant, not overbearing. Summery and refreshing.
Smooth and buttery. Creamy. Not at all thin or watery. Nicely sweet but dry as well. Well-balanced. A summer sipper.

Had this one bottled at the brewery in Milford, New York. Medium yellow pour, with a light, maple sweetness with a nice piney hoppiness, and a sharp finish, very nice!

12 ounce bottle from Glenville beverage. Pours a golden color. Head hea dthat disapears quickly, no lacing. I can small the hops. Taste is hoppy and has a little bite, kind of sharp in my mouth. If anything else is available , try the others first.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice light golden and a decent white head- fades slightly. Aroma is traditional ringwod butter diacetyl with some herbal floral hops and some light bready pale malts. Doughy and bready flavor a bit slick with diacetyl , butter, and lightly hopped. Goes down ok. One of the more prominent diacetyl bombs of their lineup.

notes from 3/11/08. on tap from brewery tasting. Pale yellow in appearance, aroma is faint of hops. Quite simple, subdued hop flavor with slight end sweetness. Very drinkable, but nothing special.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Nice sweet aroma of caramel and fruit, peach and grape. Medium body and overcarbonated. Flavor starts a bit sweet with the slightest hint of hops and ends on a metallic note. Not that good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
June 2006 - Hey, I liked this one! Beer poured with huge head and fantastic lacing. Golden brown color rounded out a fine appearance. Not much going on aroma-wise. Flavor was malty, but as Vac noted, a bitterness from the malt...maybe a touch of caramel and some earthiness. Some hops present, but this doesnít seem like an American Pale Ale to me. Hops and malt taste more English. This is a drinkable beer that I wouldnít mind coming back to anytime. Not fancy, but well done!
