Duke (117), New York, USA Sep 16, 2004 Pours clear yellow-orange with a frothy white head. Floral aroma. Sweet citrus fruity taste with a lot of fizz. After taste is a bit metallic.
Dickinsonbeer (2550), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Aug 6, 2008 Pours a nice light golden and a decent white head- fades slightly. Aroma is traditional ringwod butter diacetyl with some herbal floral hops and some light bready pale malts. Doughy and bready flavor a bit slick with diacetyl , butter, and lightly hopped. Goes down ok. One of the more prominent diacetyl bombs of their lineup. elihapa (302), Connecticut, USA May 13, 2008 notes from 3/11/08. on tap from brewery tasting. Pale yellow in appearance, aroma is faint of hops. Quite simple, subdued hop flavor with slight end sweetness. Very drinkable, but nothing special. blipp (801), Grand Island, New York, USA Mar 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Nice sweet aroma of caramel and fruit, peach and grape. Medium body and overcarbonated. Flavor starts a bit sweet with the slightest hint of hops and ends on a metallic note. Not that good. Goodgrief (1042), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 2, 2008 June 2006 - Hey, I liked this one! Beer poured with huge head and fantastic lacing. Golden brown color rounded out a fine appearance. Not much going on aroma-wise. Flavor was malty, but as Vac noted, a bitterness from the malt...maybe a touch of caramel and some earthiness. Some hops present, but this doesn’t seem like an American Pale Ale to me. Hops and malt taste more English. This is a drinkable beer that I wouldn’t mind coming back to anytime. Not fancy, but well done! bigrond (865), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 15, 2007 I don’t like this one. rancid odor. crappy taste. I hate to be negative but with a 4.3% - ugh. this is the pits.
