psuCE03 (107), York, Pennsylvania, USA May 18, 2007 I can’t put my finger on it, but there is definitely a different taste to this pale ale. It has the hops but there is yeast, maybe, that is really turning me off to the flavor. It’s drinkable but not one of my favorite PAs
AskForJenny (430), Ontario, New York, USA Jul 28, 2008 12oz - Rock solid from start to finish. Copper colored liquid under frotyhy tan head. Healthy carbonation of small bubbles. Nice bright citrus hops on nose. Palate is nice too, with malt fading to spice (nutmeg) and hops. A pleasant, well constructed, memorable New York brewed ale. McGarnigle (164), Rochester, New York, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Crystal clear copper color w/ ephemeral head. Smells slightly of butterscotch. Malty, slightly fruity (but pulls back dry) and with earthy, spicy hops. Kind of a mess, but not flavorless. Carbonation is sharp. Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jun 16, 2008 Bottle from joe cannals in princeton. Pours a dark copper body with an off white head. Aroma is citrus hop ans sweet malt. Flavor sweet caramel malt and some hop character. No abv to be detected. elihapa (244), Connecticut, USA May 13, 2008 3/11/08 notes, cup from brewery tasting. A copper-colored APA like Deschutes Pale Ale, this beer has nice complexity of malts and hops, nothing really jumps out at you. Caramel and Brown sugar form base of flavors, though hops balance out the sweetness. Wouldn’t go out of my way to try again. buzzoven (116), Japan May 4, 2008 I was digging the old school baseball theme going on with the labels, but my excitement faded quickly with the first sip. Just a dull thud overall with no real nose, body, or finish to speak of. I like my Pale Ales to be hearty and crisp...but this one strikes out in my book.
