buzzoven (72), Japan May 4, 2008 I was digging the old school baseball theme going on with the labels, but my excitement faded quickly with the first sip. Just a dull thud overall with no real nose, body, or finish to speak of. I like my Pale Ales to be hearty and crisp...but this one strikes out in my book.
McGarnigle (149), Rochester, New York, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Crystal clear copper color w/ ephemeral head. Smells slightly of butterscotch. Malty, slightly fruity (but pulls back dry) and with earthy, spicy hops. Kind of a mess, but not flavorless. Carbonation is sharp. Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jun 16, 2008 Bottle from joe cannals in princeton. Pours a dark copper body with an off white head. Aroma is citrus hop ans sweet malt. Flavor sweet caramel malt and some hop character. No abv to be detected. elihapa (200), Hawaii, USA May 13, 2008 3/11/08 notes, cup from brewery tasting. A copper-colored APA like Deschutes Pale Ale, this beer has nice complexity of malts and hops, nothing really jumps out at you. Caramel and Brown sugar form base of flavors, though hops balance out the sweetness. Wouldn’t go out of my way to try again. blipp (599), Grand Island, New York, USA Mar 2, 2008 Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and brown sugar. Medium body. Flavor starts out with some sweet caramel, then some citrus followed by a very quick finish. Pretty average.
