3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear bright copper. Thin head, nice lace. Nose of malt, yeast and a bit of peat? Medium body, soft and chewy, definite malt and peaty smoke on the palate, ringwood yeast(shows up very early and at the end) adds a unique and tasty fruity compliment to the beer. Nicely rich and balanced. Good shit! I have had 3 of this breweries beers and they have been winners.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice ruby brown color, beige head, generous lace, medium body.
The yeast is quite evident in the nose, but the malts dominate. Still the finish has a nice bite of hops which adds greatly to the pleasure of this beer. A good beer I think, and a very quaffable brew for all concerned, and a cool label for us baseball fans. ’Thanks Venom.’

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Huge maltiness and a warming alcohol bite, all underneath the Ringwood yeast fruitiness. A ditto version of Geary’s Hampshire Ale, but a little tamer. Nice sipping brew.
