COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Pride of Milford" is a very special ale with a tapestry of complex flavors and aromas. It is brewed with five malts and fermented with the Ringwood yeast at a higher temperature which gives this beer a uniqueness all its own. "Pride" has a distinctive reddish copper color. It is strong and rich beer. When "Pride" was first brewed in December 1999, many thought the flavor and aromas of this beer had fruit overtones. No fruit or adjunct flavoring is added to this beer.

Clear bright copper. Thin head, nice lace. Nose of malt, yeast and a bit of peat? Medium body, soft and chewy, definite malt and peaty smoke on the palate, ringwood yeast(shows up very early and at the end) adds a unique and tasty fruity compliment to the beer. Nicely rich and balanced. Good shit! I have had 3 of this breweries beers and they have been winners.

Nice ruby brown color, beige head, generous lace, medium body. The yeast is quite evident in the nose, but the malts dominate. Still the finish has a nice bite of hops which adds greatly to the pleasure of this beer. A good beer I think, and a very quaffable brew for all concerned, and a cool label for us baseball fans. ’Thanks Venom.’

VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 28, 2001
Huge maltiness and a warming alcohol bite, all underneath the Ringwood yeast fruitiness. A ditto version of Geary’s Hampshire Ale, but a little tamer. Nice sipping brew.
