Not much better then the Aspen from these guys, decent light golden color.Small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was weak, light malt some faint hops a slight sweet hint to it.The flavor was boring, faint all around with little imagination put into the brew. The hops just never really make a showing and a little thin. It’s worth trying once but save your money if possible, unless your looking for a swill night brew.

Definitely not that bad as the average rate... I expected shit, and maybe that’s why I liked it.

I’ve had the misfortune of drinking these at college party’s and barbecues and I’m quite certain the only reason this beer endures is because of the depression era price. It is an underwhelming beer, akin to drinking seltzer. However it is unoffensive and cheap making it good fodder for parties or large events.

Got this in a store in chicago. Was only $0.55. Should not have paid for this. Was surely a waste of my cash.

What is ice beer anyway: beer better served colder? I ran into an old Coors Ice friend this weekend and thought I should give the old boy adage: readily available, fun at festivals and in backyard-gatherings, good to look at, nice to taste (and that goes for the beer too) Standard American Corn Ale--God Bless America
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 faroeviking (8805) - HAITI - DEC 14, 2006
Bottle bought in Chicago. Golden colour with a nice big but short lasting head. Weak aroma of grains, litle maltiness and little hoppiness. Flavour is clean and smooth, waterish, some hints of malt, some graininess, touch of malt. Nice label with ice cristals.

Pours a light golden yellow color. Aromas of corn, a touch of hops, and little else. Flavor is like any other american lager. I prefer Coors products to A-B or Miller. It was what I was weened on.

As far as Ice beers go, this one was the best I tried. Can’t remember much else, as I had 12 this particular evening....

Pete missed on this one, as did most macros with the ice craze of the mid 90’s. Still, he did have the best effort of the Big 3. The alcohol is almost noticeable, as are the hops. A crisp pinch of rice finishes the sip. I’ll pass next time.
