I’ve had the misfortune of drinking these at college party’s and barbecues and I’m quite certain the only reason this beer endures is because of the depression era price. It is an underwhelming beer, akin to drinking seltzer. However it is unoffensive and cheap making it good fodder for parties or large events.

Not much better then the Aspen from these guys, decent light golden color.Small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was weak, light malt some faint hops a slight sweet hint to it.The flavor was boring, faint all around with little imagination put into the brew. The hops just never really make a showing and a little thin. It’s worth trying once but save your money if possible, unless your looking for a swill night brew.

Here’s the story with my rating. I was at my cousin’s drinking and playing Playstation 2 when we ran out of Michelob Light. He had two beers in the fridge; Molson Canadian and Coors Artic Ice. I already have a Molson in my bottle collection and did not have a Coors Artic Ice. So I tried the Coors Artic Ice which I can’t remember the last time I saw a bottle of that on the shelves. Well, after taking the first sip, I realized it tasted like pure vinegar. After consulting with my cousin the next day, he told me that had been in there at least 3 years. It was his dad’s and he had never drank it. Therefore, I give it one’s across the board. If I ever find one of these again, I will re-rate it after having a fresh one.

All of these domestic Ice beers deserve 1's across the board. Who marketed this idea...better yet who buys it.

I'd like to ask Pete Coors, "Is Artic Ice colder than traditional ice?"...and what kind of idiot misspells the word Arctic? Nice spell checking, there, guys. This beer sucks no matter how cold it is. No color, no flavor, a poor excuse for a beer.
