Pours a five finger white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Almost clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Sweet bread nose, flavor is bread and grass, malty sweet, hints of hops at finish. $1.99 for a 12oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, MA.

Bottle. Much darker than I anticipated, downright amber. Typical macro head lives up to expectations. Drinks with a full-on malt sweetness, a little bit of corn, but topped with a nice robust hop finish. I actually enjoy this very much ... a full-flavored lager ... go figure! (#4995, 4/22/2013)
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beerathon (590) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2013
I am a beer snob that is very harsh when rating macro beers, but this is was excellent. Coors got it right. Smooth, great malt and hop balance. The scent was a malts, not corn. Very easy drinking. I think if people did this with a blind taste test it would be rated higher. I’m not much of a lager fan, but I liked this one.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 SpringsLicker (2822) - Tennessee, USA - APR 20, 2013
Clear deep gold body under a tall, long lasting mostly white head.
Sweet bisquity malt aroma.
Sweet malt profile with enough underlying hop bitterness to balance.
Not that bad of a beer actually.

On tap at Mr. Handy’s Blues Hall in Memphis. Actually not terrible. Some mild grain and corn with a touch of backing bread and very mild residual sweetness.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Slipstream (1775) - USA - APR 18, 2013
You know, I go into my local corner store these days, and I see a refrigerator case full of what looks like craft beer, but upon examination the bottles are revealed to mostly be releases from large American breweries, only with previously unreleased names and labels. Here is an example - but this stuff wasn’t bad at all. It is kind of like a sweet lager crossed with an APA. Maybe bogus craft brew is still better than no craft brew.

Must say I was quite surprised after drinking this one that its a coors product. Creamy malty flavor yet crisp and drinkable.
