COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Batch 19 is derived from a recipe found in an old logbook discovered in brewery archives dating back before 1919, when Prohibition banned beer throughout the country. Prohibition was enforced in Colorado in 1916. The pre-Prohibition style lager delivers a bold, hoppy flavor that is surprisingly well balanced. Test market in Chicago, Milwaukee, San Francisco, San Jose, and Washington DC.

Most colors products taste like water and are good for mass consumption. This has a nice flavor and goes down smooth. It is like a old style without a bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle pours a copper/orange with a very large off-white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, and stale citrus orange hops. Mildly sweet but slightly watery on top of malt with yeast and bland hops, light bitterness on finish. More going on then a lot of Coors but forgettable and bland.

August 22nd, 2013 - Is Coors Batch 19 a clumsy appeal to craft beer drinkers? Or something else? I’m going with "something else". While the color is a nice basset hound brown, the smell and taste give very little for the picky, internet crusading beer reviewer to go on. The aroma is generically sweet and nutty, like peanuts, but tainted with an off-putting urine smell. This face-wrenching note also appears in the aftertaste, after a sweeter gulp of the peanut flavored sugars and a very, very busy carbonation. This beer was left on the tasting room table for either a waiter or a drinker far more desperate for a sip than me.

Draft from notes. Pours a clear golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, honey, grainy, lightly toasted, some skunk, very unexciting but I guess it could be worse.

Coors sneaky ass attempt at another "craft" beer. Decent offering, nothing special. I would much prefer other widely available beers.

Batch 19 is a lovely shade of gold, ultra clear and mildly fizzy. Nice creamy white head that dissipates after about a minute. No lacing. It smells of perfume, pears and spicy bread. The taste is a mild bitterness in the front that becomes a bit sweet and then finishes long and dry. Picking up some caramel apple notes. Feels light bodied and refreshing. Definitely a step up from the typical BMC fare. A decent American interpretation of a pilsener style beer. Not earth shattering but a good, solid session beer. I will definitely have another.

Clear gold with lots of visual carbonation. Lasting off white head with a little lacing. The aroma is of light malt. Medium body with lots of tang from the carbonation. Finishes clean and a little dry. Not bad at all.

2/28 Bottle - Decent malt smell, OK but not a very strong taste or feel, and very light to drink. I prefer stronger beers and tastes, but this was a decent beer for what it is.

Poured from a bottle. Small head that lasted awhile. No lacing. Slight malt aroma. Flavorful taste, better than a cheap American lager, but not remarkable.

Bottle from Wegman’s. Straw pour with nose of hopcitrus, pale malt. Not much flavor, some pale malt, hopcitrus. Forgettable.

Tasted on 1/17/15 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased in a mixed six pack from the grocery store. Pours clear pale golden with a thick white head that quickly recedes to an average collar of lace. This is pretty typical macro pale lager with sweet corny cereal malt, and just a touch of grassy hops. The flavor is a bit more expressive than the typical pale lager, showing corny malt with a touch of caramel depth, and just a light hint of grassy hops. The body is light with fizzy carbonation and a short, lightly grassy finish.
