COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Batch 19 is derived from a recipe found in an old logbook discovered in brewery archives dating back before 1919, when Prohibition banned beer throughout the country. Prohibition was enforced in Colorado in 1916. The pre-Prohibition style lager delivers a bold, hoppy flavor that is surprisingly well balanced. Test market in Chicago, Milwaukee, San Francisco, San Jose, and Washington DC.

I don't know what to say about this beer. It has a wonderful aroma and great lager mouthfeel, but in the taste department it doesn't really depart in any way from the macrobrew formula. If you're just starting to step away from bud light or miller light, it is a step in the right direction. But just a step, mind you. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Well, its better than anything Coors offers, but we all know that means nothing. If this was pre-prohibition, its pretty lame

Draft at Des Moines airport bar. Cloudy orange pour. White frothy head. Nice hybrid of a wheat and IPA. Not much to say about it. Drink it

Bottle. Pours golden. Surprisingly decent sized white cream head. Some lacing. Mild grainy aroma. Flavor is slightly bitter caramel. Honestly didn’t care for the flavor, but appreciate that its more original then many of the macro ventures in to craft beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with hints of bread an citrus. The flavor was sweet, tangy and bready with faint citrus and faint notes of perfume and medicine. Medium length sweet tangy and perfumey finish with a hint of butterscotch coming out at the very end. Medium body. Not very impressive.

I didn’t even realize this was a coors product but after drinking it I said it tastes like someone added hops to coors lite. Clear golden with foaming white head. Light in aroma, some European hops an some grain. Mild corn based beverage flavour. Yay.

5/15/13. On tap at a random Miller’s Ale House in Gainesville pre-BA Roosevelt release. Gotta love random unexpected ticks. Clear golden pour with a small creamy head that actually lasts and laces well. Plain grainy aroma with touches of corn. Plain grainy flavor as well... not much going on. Not offensive.

Draft - pours gold with white head and thin lacing. Nose is corn. Flavor adds caramel and pilsner hop qualities. Medium bitterness with light sweetness. Strange aftertaste nearing the smoky. Dry to the lips. Little character.

Kind if a poor man's IPA. Got a hoppy flavor without being too overpowering. Good color and aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber color with a white head. Aroma is faint with some citrus and caramel. Flavor is dry with some citrus and grassy notes. This is the yuengling of the west. Overall let go of the bmc bias and have a decent lager.
