COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Batch 19 is derived from a recipe found in an old logbook discovered in brewery archives dating back before 1919, when Prohibition banned beer throughout the country. Prohibition was enforced in Colorado in 1916. The pre-Prohibition style lager delivers a bold, hoppy flavor that is surprisingly well balanced. Test market in Chicago, Milwaukee, San Francisco, San Jose, and Washington DC.

I don't know what to say about this beer. It has a wonderful aroma and great lager mouthfeel, but in the taste department it doesn't really depart in any way from the macrobrew formula. If you're just starting to step away from bud light or miller light, it is a step in the right direction. But just a step, mind you. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2/28 Bottle - Decent malt smell, OK but not a very strong taste or feel, and very light to drink. I prefer stronger beers and tastes, but this was a decent beer for what it is.

Poured from a bottle. Small head that lasted awhile. No lacing. Slight malt aroma. Flavorful taste, better than a cheap American lager, but not remarkable.

Bottle from Wegman’s. Straw pour with nose of hopcitrus, pale malt. Not much flavor, some pale malt, hopcitrus. Forgettable.

Tasted on 1/17/15 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased in a mixed six pack from the grocery store. Pours clear pale golden with a thick white head that quickly recedes to an average collar of lace. This is pretty typical macro pale lager with sweet corny cereal malt, and just a touch of grassy hops. The flavor is a bit more expressive than the typical pale lager, showing corny malt with a touch of caramel depth, and just a light hint of grassy hops. The body is light with fizzy carbonation and a short, lightly grassy finish.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber with a foamy white head, and swirls of lace. Taste is light caramel malt with a light shot of hops in the finish. Not much happens, but the flavor trumps pretty much everything else Coors produces. It’s drinkable. Enough said.

bottle. Poured clear gold with bubbly white head. Aroma is grainy, a bit tart. Light body, carbonated mouthfeel with a sticky dry finish. Grainy flavour, cornish with a little bready malt, metallic note.

Backlog rating on 11-18-2012 (Bottle) The appearance is a small, creamy, smooth off-white head with a long retention, transparent golden body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is grainy malt and a suggestion of corn. The flavor is lightly sweet, hint of hops and malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer does not have a lot of character to it. The flavor is not bad, but it does not leave me wanting this beer again.

Draft at Coors. Same amber color and thin lacing head. Light grain and hops. Well carbonated. It has some flavor. Ok.

"Had semi-high hopes for this, and it turned out just ok. Pretty much what I should have expected. I already thought classic Coors is the best of the BMC products. This is about on par with that, or maaaybe a little better, due to the eber so slight hop presence, but it’s really just a non-offensive corn or generic malt driven light lager. The flavor would have workled a tiny bit better if the carbonation wasn’t so gassy...that took away from what possibly would have been a stright 3. Glad I tried it, probably won;t again."
