COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Batch 19 is derived from a recipe found in an old logbook discovered in brewery archives dating back before 1919, when Prohibition banned beer throughout the country. Prohibition was enforced in Colorado in 1916. The pre-Prohibition style lager delivers a bold, hoppy flavor that is surprisingly well balanced. Test market in Chicago, Milwaukee, San Francisco, San Jose, and Washington DC.

Soft mouthfeel, nutty finish and some fleeting grapefruit notes. Batch 19 is a flavorful, smooth lager that is emblazoned with more flavor than its style merits. A good session brew.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma is a good blend of hops and caramel malt. The taste is big on malt with a hint of hops a surprising flavor from Coors. I really enjoyed it.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of earth tones, some floral hops and soap. Flavor is floral and citrus hops with a finish of the earth tones and that weird soap flavor.

Oh, it's Coors. Maybe good for a hot summer day. Slightly sweet and bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Coors. Pours clear gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like musky cereal malt, corn, and some citrus hops. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like cereal malt, musky corn, and faint citrus hops.

Bottle at United Club Dulles. Gold body with large head. Nose corn, cereal, sweet, dank. Taste again lager-like, with malts, corn and caramel. Medium bodied. Skunky finish. Coors...

I don’t understand why this gets such high ratings. Must be the well-designed label, the pretty bottle and the Coors name. I for one am not a fan. Weak tasting, over-carbonated, with a very light body and very little palate. Very skippable, and certainly not worth $10.00 for a 6-er.

Marginal at best. This seemingly mix between a traditional marzen beer and a pilsner style lager leaves a sweet aftertaste but hits the palate strong at first.

Poured from bottle. Smells like malt and ocean. Not bad lookin Amber gold with white head. Getting some lager notes in flavor, along with sugar, grass and cereal. Syrupy aftertaste. It’s like a blend of three or more beers, and way too sweet for a lager.
