COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing Extra Gold Lager requires uncommon patience. Patience in the slow aging of the roasted malts. Patience to take the thtree extra brewing steps needed to craft every batch. This added time and effort yeilds an exceptional, refined lager.

Review from notes, sampled 12/14/2007 My friends dad drinks this, so occasionally I’ll end up having one or two with him. It’s not bad for a macro lager, certainly more body in this one than some of the others. Pours a golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of noble hops some clean malts and a bit of skunk. Taste is macro mouthfeel is thin and watery. I have trouble with these, because they are so light I can finish them rather quickly and they can catch up to me. Not bad, not great, but not bad.

(can). Pours a clear golden color. Medium white head. Light to moderate sweet grain/malt aroma. Flavor of the same. Short duration. Light dry finish. Thin texture. Moderate/fizzy carbonation. Fair lacing.

Out of a 12oz can, some beers do not require glassware and this is one of them. From the mouth of the can it has the appearance of beer. It has a sweet, grainy, malty taste. It’s beer and I’ll drink it, we can’t always afford a top 50, it just has to be drinkable and it is.

it was refreshing though weak with a toasty caramel type flavor that was watery and tempered with a plastic like taste of fruit that we beleived was the golden type flavor. the extra body was impressive way back then.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2010 A deep pale yellow color with thin white head. Better than the others from Coors. Still scent of corn and metal. Thin.

Can. Gift at poker game. No aroma. Pours gold with small off-white head. Taste mainly metallic. Not much else. Worth what I paid.

Weak, slightly fusel aroma on a headless, butterscotch colored beer. Taste is weak, with an odd chloriney minerality, with residual biscuity sweetness.

12oz can poured into a pilsner glass. Pours coppery gold with a soda fizz head. Smells like rust and hay. Tastes like cheap corn malt, metalic, and pretty wattery and bitter in the aftertaste. Not as bad as others of this style, but I won’t have any problems drinking the rest of the 30 pk I bought for 13 bucks.
