2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
If your a beer drinker and I am, and drink a case or more a week which I do, and are tired of spending over $100 bucks a month on beer and I am, This is the best $11 a case beer I have tasted. Buy it in cans and pour into a glass. Satisfying and at a low cost. I remember when this first came out in the mid eights it cost more than regular coors. This beer gives a lot of bang for the buck. I would rather drink Victoryís Hop Devil but I can settle on this.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale brown color. A pretty smooth lager, lacks the nasty bite after each sip that distinguishes a crummy usual suspect pale.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: pours a 1" fluffy white head which recedes moderately. There is a moderate amount of lacing. Beer is a deep golden color with noticeable streaming carbonation.
Aroma: roasted barley, corn husks, clean water and a bit of hop aroma.
Mouthfeel: light and crisp. This brew goes down easily and finish is quite dry.
Flavor: pleasant taste of toasted bread crust, a bit of buttery toffee, some corn sweetness. There is a mild hop bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2013 Okay American beer. As good as or better than most mass produced American beers such as Bud, Miller, etc. And at a much lower price! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Cabin fridge rate. Pours with just a slight haze to its gold body under a small fizzy white head that hung around a while, but didnít look all that natural as it laid there. The nose is pretty generic macro lager, mostly corn sweetness with not a whole lot else. Itís not especially offensive though, and thatís something at least. The flavor is a bit heavier than the ílightí beers Iíve had tonight, but that really just means more corn, so not sure thatís really a good quality. Finishes like it starts, sweet and a bit bland. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Would it kill these macro guys to throw in some hop to their lagers? Not something I could picture myself on a steady diet of, but for a night at the cabin, itíll do.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Extra Gold Lager has a thick, white, marshmallow-type head, a clear, deep gold, bubbly appearance, and lots of lacing rings left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet & sour roasted barley malt and other grains. Taste is of sweet, funky grain, a touch of hops, and it has a moderate roastiness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Extra Gold Lager finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and highly drinkable. Overall, this just might be the best American-style adjunct lager on the market! Oh, yeah! RJT

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Kent Prrbek is really being annoying right now, so I think itís time to head to bold flavor town. Got this from trukpro, and man have I been looking forward to opening this! Can. Shimmering golden color with a small, fluffy, white head. Plenty of carbonation. Sweet aroma with corn, grains, and a slight grass character. A touch sweeter than Iíd like, but still pretty solid. The taste is where this is at. Bold grains, corn, and a touch of sweetness. Definitely worth getting a chance to try this. Pretty hefty carbonation. This would be a great summer beer, or just something you could drink a thousand of in a night.
