COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing Extra Gold Lager requires uncommon patience. Patience in the slow aging of the roasted malts. Patience to take the thtree extra brewing steps needed to craft every batch. This added time and effort yeilds an exceptional, refined lager.

This is a good beer, for being 11 dollars a case. Alot better than anything Miller or Budweiser have to offer.

One of the few American beers I actually enjoy. It’s good enough to be considered Canadian (don’t hit me). Truthfully, a fine, nicelybodied beer....good to sip...wouldn’t want to chug it though...filling.

This stuff was pretty bad. Why did i have to get a 30 pack. Not the worst beer i’ve had so i suppose i’ll put it up there with all the other average domestic brews. This tastes like Coors regular but with more malt and hops added. It has a bigger mouthfeel and is better than Coors.

Very good for cheap beer, light for lager, not very filling. clear brew, simplistic mass produced beverage

Sample - 12 oz can. Ah yes, my first rating for my new screenname! And how fitting that it is not only my favorite mass produced sub-premium priced lager, but is also my namesake as well! This lesser known Coors product is probably its best. A quality lager all the way. Pours a beautiful dark golden color, much darker than any other beer in its class - almost tea colored. Not much of a head to speak of, and what little there is disipates quickly. White lacing lasts the entire glass. Goes down incredibly smooth, not stingy like other overcarbonated Am.Std's. A slight sweet taste, which is pleasant, but not overwhelming. No harsh or unpleasant aftertastes. Coors Extra Gold is definitely a must try, despite its price. I invite all to prove me wrong. Find me a better American Standard at this price - I dare you. It will always be in my fridge. Too bad it doesn't come in a smaller pack though - 30 packs limit its sales.

This beer is by far the best value in the market. My dad used to work for coors and back when extra gold first came out, it was their premium product... too bad no one bought it.

This is not a good beer. It’s smells sweet. Pours deep golden lager yellow. Tastes very bitter. Leaves an awful after taste. I expected more from coors. .... Maybe I had a bad batch

We bought this stuff as an emergency after we ran out of Keystone at our last party. I dunno, maybe it’s because I had it in a can, but it was just awful, with a metallic taste to it. I give it some credit, but not much, just because it’s cheap.
