Beerman6686 (538), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 6, 2008 Pours a very pale yellow color with no head. Aroma is almost non existent but is mainly of corn. Flavor is also of corn and water, but at least its smooth and not funky tasting.
VTHopHead (640), Barre, Vermont, USA Jul 6, 2008 Can - Poured a golden amber in color with a big foamy head that quickly disappeared. Aroma was faintly hoppy with the distinct odor of corn and other unknown adjunct brewables. Flavor was typical of any megabrew lager... certainly no worse than regular Coors, but no better either. I see no benefit to the "extra gold" moniker. puboflyons (352), New Hampshire, USA Jun 22, 2008 From a 12 fl. oz. can marked 80507C51R. It actually makes a nice sounding bubbly pour. It is a clear gold with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of light malts and grass. Not that watered down but also not bold. Better than other Coors products. GangGreen712 (37), Woodstock Valley, Connecticut, USA Jun 15, 2008 You get what you pay for with this. Certainly better than Coors Light, but still watery, grassy, and generally boring. This is "congratulations on finally moving out of the trailer park" beer. mansquito (576), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Jun 14, 2008 Well, I drank it out of a can. It really wasn’t so bad. It was swill, but it had some taste. Totally drinkable at the end of the day and it is pretty cheap to boot. alwaysbeer (3), canton, Pennsylvania, USA does not count May 22, 2008 The only time I get this beer is when I am low on cash! It is drinkable but not my favorite!!
