This beer is by far the best value in the market. My dad used to work for coors and back when extra gold first came out, it was their premium product... too bad no one bought it.

Very good beer, has a much smoother taste than most other cheap beers.

Extra Gold Lager has a thick, white, marshmallow-type head, a clear, deep gold, bubbly appearance, and lots of lacing rings left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet & sour roasted barley malt and other grains. Taste is of sweet, funky grain, a touch of hops, and it has a moderate roastiness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Extra Gold Lager finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and highly drinkable. Overall, this just might be the best American-style adjunct lager on the market! Oh, yeah! RJT

Extra Gold is the best beer that can be bought in 30 racks at my local supermarkets. I choose it over the others of that category because of itís flavor. Itís a great rich roasty lager.

One of the few American beers I actually enjoy. Itís good enough to be considered Canadian (donít hit me). Truthfully, a fine, nicelybodied beer....good to sip...wouldnít want to chug it though...filling.

This beer is excellent overall. Perfect for the daily beer drinker that does not want a light beer. The full flavor is richer than most all other American leading brands. Coors scored in my book!

12oz can picked up as partof a 30pack at Hannafordís in Derry. Pours a light amber crystal-clear body with a good inch of off-white short-lived head. Aroma is dominated by biscuit and cracker, tinged with some hints of adjunct, hay/cut grass, and a small bit of DMS (cooked corn). Flavor is fairly bready with slight hay-like flavor in the background, and just the slightest hint of cooked corn in the background. Light-bodied with moderate to high effervescent carbonation. Extremely drinkable, even for the style, since it has such a pleasant flavor and a clean finish. Tastes very good, an easy drinker, better than your average American adjunct lager, and probably the best thing going for the price (50 cents/12oz can).
