Brewing Extra Gold Lager requires uncommon patience. Patience in the slow aging of the roasted malts. Patience to take the thtree extra brewing steps needed to craft every batch. This added time and effort yeilds an exceptional, refined lager.

Appearance: pours a 1" fluffy white head which recedes moderately. There is a moderate amount of lacing. Beer is a deep golden color with noticeable streaming carbonation. Aroma: roasted barley, corn husks, clean water and a bit of hop aroma. Mouthfeel: light and crisp. This brew goes down easily and finish is quite dry. Flavor: pleasant taste of toasted bread crust, a bit of buttery toffee, some corn sweetness. There is a mild hop bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.

Can from Jungle Jims from backlog notes. Pours a clear light golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have the typical grainy malt, corn, some honey sweetness, mineral character, I would not revisit this again.

Pours a golden with a small head.

The aroma is papery and yeasty with some sorta corniness.

The flavor is a little boozy with some tomato & corn... the hoppiness is at least lightly defined.

Geeze Aaron, next time just give me some bottled soup.

I had a few cans of this last weekend. Pretty foul stuff. Actually made the PBR I had afterwards somewhat drinkable. Never again.

12oz can. Looks light. Aroma of pale malts and bread and light bitterness and tin. Flavor the same. Light texture. Not the worst beer of its style.

Can @ Presidential Suite. Thanks, Pussy Pete. Pale golden colored beer with minimal white foam. Smells like a swimming pool. Watery, slight grain/cereal sweetness, and apple. Maybe some pear. Flavor is just kind of sweet and grainy. Cereal, corn, and mild fruity esters. As with the nose, rather watery. Not offensive, but I really did not like this.

12 oz. can shared by NielsenRatings, or TwoSipDip, at RBSG’s Friday night hotel bottle share. Thanks, pal. Pours a pale gold with a white head. Pale and sweet malts, minerals...not much else. Light-bodied, with a dry mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Fine for what it is.

Bottle shared at RBSG. Pours a golden color with white head. Grainy, straw, hay flavors. As good or better than Coors Banquet. Reminds me of living in Golden.
