0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 jikvig (267) - NORWAY - OCT 8, 2010
Out of all the "big beers" of USA, this is the one for me that sucks less. Not that it dont suck, just sucks less. A clear, medium foaming head. Getting some corn on the nose, maybe a hint of sitrus?
The same goes for the palate, in a rather short aftertaste.
And Im sorry to say, but the "cold activated mountains" you get on the can are pretty cool. But not way cool enough for me to by this beer

Bottle. It’s a clear, yellowish golden beer topped by a dense, white head of moderate size. Some lacings. The aroma is more or less missing. Some faint whiffs of dms, corn, grains and fruits can be found. The flavor is a bit more present, but very weak, canned corn, some fruits and maybe, just maybe, a little bitterness. No, there’s no bitterness. The finish is gone before you recognize it. Thin and watery, I’d rather drink water actually, less calories and more quenching. I normally don’t award a beer with a 2 for aroma and taste unless it’s bad. This one’s not bad, it’s just the most boring beer I’ve had so far. Hence the lower score. It really amazes me that this is a top-seller. 101006

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 kbutler1 (1078) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 1, 2010
Can. Ok, so I had one of these in the fridge left over from a get together and decided to rate it. Beer poured from a can meant for, well, probably left in the can but I’ll pour it into a glass.
Pours a very clear golden yellow color with a very fizzy white head that pops its little bubbles pretty frantically. What’s left of the head after it settles is very little head at all. No lace at all. The aroma is that of sweet baby corn but nothing really else. Pretty non descript.
The taste is pretty non descript as well until you get this lingering off flavor in the end. Semi sweet up front. The carbonation on this is pretty high and gets in the way of any real "flavors" that may be there. Pretty light mouthfeel.
In the world of beers, how does this rate. Well, pretty bad. I’m sure there are worse but I would go micro any day of the week instead of grabbing one of these.

From the cold activated can with the vented wide mouth and the frost brew liner. Pours barely yellow. Head disappears quickly. Weird smelling. Like a Doctor’s waiting office. Taste is all corn all the time. Incredi-bland. One note.

Draught. Can’t even kill a werewolf.. unless they are able to be killed by a fetid cocktail of corn and adjuncts? I myself will just let them live. Team Jacob!

Pale yellow, thin white diminishing head, not much going on a step above tonic water.
