I’ve had plenty of mainstream beer in my life, so I’m not being snobby when I ask: have I really ever seen Coors Light before? It’s always in a can, a brown bottle or a Solo cup. Even though I know it’s on tap sometimes, I’m pretty sure even in those bars people who drink it order it in bottles. Anyway it’s astonishingly pale. Plenty of carbonation. Was wondering what a sub-3 palate rating would be. Am I rating this low because it’s Coors Light? Nope - it’s grainy, fizzy and thin. Flavorwise, it’s caramel corn with only a hint of bitterness. Kind of like a soda.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 tmb1986 (1) - - OCT 12, 2011 does not count
The problem with all these ratings is that people don’t take into account why these beers are drank - it’s not because people think they’re amazing or that the change the world of beer; light beer is drank to drink. Tell me that you can drink 15 IPA’s and have a good time. You can’t. Light beer are here for a reason and that reason will stay. I like it. Plenty of people do. Don’t get down on it, just enjoy it for what it is - a good, slightly tasteful, very light beer
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 nevets4433 (297) - - OCT 8, 2011
Draught from a lager glass. Very transparent light yellow pour with huge bubbles. Aroma is basically nonexistant, as is the taste. Fleeting notes of simple malt and adjunct grain. This beer, among American macros, is known for having the least taste. I has less of the offensive adjunct notes...but overall tastes extrordinarily watery.

Looks like piss, tastes like water with a tiny touch of hops, drink this cold colder coldest...
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 lachrymalisis (144) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Not much to speak of, slight wheat quality but nothing substantial.
Easy to drink, but that’s about it. Not much in the way of flavor,
but for those budget 30 pack fans, here’s your golden calf!

24 oz. can. I tried this macro brew just to see if my palate had changed since drinking tons of micro brews in the last 6-9 months. I can honestly say that I couldn’t make it through the enire can. The appearance was faint yellow w/no head. Smelled of cardboard and skunk. The taste was skunky or I would have finished. I will never drink this beer again...

Bottle at home
I have to be honest here, i didn’t chill this beer long enough to se the mountains on the label turn blue. So what i found of tastes and bad tastes may not appear at all if you do as the label says - Anyhow
Very very pale, nice white head. Smells of malts and alcohol. Tastes nothing at all, finished off with some cooked veggies. Can’t understand why this beer is selling at all - but maybe this is because i didn’t wait for the blue mountains to appear??

Pale yellow, fizzy head. The aroma is sweet American lager with no hops and mild adjuncts. Flavor is inoffensive but nothing special. Better than some of the other light beers out there but that’s not saying much.
