punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA Apr 24, 2004 Let me tell you the story of Coors Non-Alcoholic...in 1984, a veal farm owner got an excellent idea. What if he decided to only feed these small calves iron pills and immense amounts of water? An excellent idea, he thought. So, Farmer Dumass did just that--he fed the calves iron pills and water. Once they were taken to the slaughterhouse, he had their blood bottled and sold as Coors Non-Alcoholic. A bloody, metallic, watered-down disappointment. I mean, c'mon, O'doul's wasn't this bad... DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 9, 2004 Coors without the alcohol. If you don't wanna drink alcohol and wanna cut calories, for God's sake drink diet coke, don't drink this shit. If you don't wanna get a DUI, then stay in your house and drink good beer. JPDIPSO (4863), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Mar 14, 2004 Dark straw color with a modest head of white bubbles that settles to a thin lid. Aromas of grain and bran flakes.. Rather lifeless body aside form the fizz. Flavors of bran flakes to match the aroma with a watery finish. ToadMan (554), Washington, Washington DC, USA Jan 14, 2004 I drank it as a joke and Im embarased to rate it, but here goes. Golden yellow color, sweet slightly malty aroma. Flavor is very sweet for a second i confused the flavor for maltieness, but it was realy just sweet water and butter. Leaves a buttery aftertaste, just a bad bad beverage. BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA Dec 30, 2003 pale shiny gold, light fizzy head and no lacing
absent body and mouthfeel, aroma of diactyl and dms, faint at best. flavor is there but isn't too great, much better than odouls, that is for sure. a little plain and non-impressive. The mouthfeel is odd, not negative, but odd, almost like a spice! No, it can't be! I'm confused, I've been chugging these NA beers all night and I'm sobering up! AHHHHHHHH!!!! StoutOrDeath (119), USA Dec 17, 2003 Once in a while I decide that I'm going to cut back on alcohol, so I try a NA beer. Then I have to drink a case of good stuff to wash the nasty flavor out of my mouth. I hear they do some OK NA's in Europe. Not here. NO NO NO NO NO!!!! EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA Jul 18, 2003 Why oh why did I try this one. I know, I was trying to run up my rating. Well, not much to discuss in the way of malt or hops. Nice bottle. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA Jun 22, 2003 Not a real bad brew IMO.I could drink alot of these on a nice hot day.golden color, small to no head, malty wheaty aroma with a very faint hop presence.the taste was hard to describe i guess squirrel piss comes to mind,it was mild everything with a watery feel and an after tase that was forgettable.I guess i was wrong in my set phrase this is not very good but fair at best, but i think i could get used to the taste after awhile.
