COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Basic Pale Lager. I had this one a long time ago. If I have the chance to drink it again, I’ll update this rating

12 oz. bottle from a shaker. Pours a straw-golden color with almost no head. Aroma has some light corn sweetness. Taste is absolutely generic American macro "beer." Some adjunct notes and sweetness. Mild lager hops in the finish. Overall, incredibly generic.

35cl bottle - pours light with typical pale lager descriptions but this is super light. Nose is faint but hoppy. Aroma is a little malty and has that skunky hoppiness. Taste is a wee bit sweet and equally bitter. Definitely maltier than the typical pale lager. Burpy. Watery and thin. Growing on me win every sip.

This is my least favorite of the crap mass produced mass advertised beers. Not that any of them are good or taste much different

Grain, sweet malt and cereal aroma and flavor. Clear golden with fast disappearing head. Watery with a dry finish.

Not a big fan of Coors in general. It is okay, but not anything I would chose to drink unless the cooler is filled with ice beers.

Had this beer to long ago, just transferring from a app I was using to rate beer. As I drink these again I will add a better review.

"a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise" - really? Perhaps you might want to compromise. Very little in the way of flavour or aroma. Must admit, I think there is worse for the style. If anyone wants to debate on how a turd can be more of a turd than another turd, I’ll be on the toilet.
