Botnik (102), Carrollton, Texas, USA Oct 24, 2008 Back in the late ’60s, Coors was very popular in Alabama, where it wasn’t distributed. My friends couldn’t understand why I hated it so. Still do. Rocky Mountain Bear Whiz. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 22, 2008 Can. High fluffy and lasting white head. Clear golden body. Mild sweet barley malt aroma and flavor. Low carbonation, short aftertaste. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA Oct 19, 2008 24 oz can poured medium yellow with a very thick head. Bready aroma with alot of yeast smell. Corn and alcohol were the largest tastes. Not a great beer but a nice one when you need a "Banquet Beer". caesar (3020), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Oct 17, 2008 Bottled. Clear yellow color, short head. Grainy aroma, some corn. Bit sweet and slight bitter taste. Just drink it ice-cold, so you dont taste a thing. MexiFinn (42), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 16, 2008 32 oz. bottle from a gas station, tastes like tap water with some sugar mixed in, if it didn’t state BEER on the label would of been unidentifiable... I will not buy again. Probably drinkable if you’re stuck in the desert for 4 or 5 days without access to water... and sugar. Sorry, and cheers. CanIHave4Beers (838), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Oct 13, 2008 Sometimes this really hits the old spot, and as far as the big macros are concerned this will serve as one of my favorites.
This is remarkably smooth, and hence remarkably watery. The color is a light gold, and the head of course goes away fairly quickly. The adjunct grain seems to be fairly under control here though and does not dissuade the flavor, making it less offensive, but by no means exciting.
TKA300 (99), Carbondale, Illinois, USA Oct 10, 2008 Like any other light lager. Pretty solid vs. most other mass-produced since it’s still owned by a country bordering the U.S. Semi-refreshing, sits pretty well. gerardoluna (195), Mexico Oct 1, 2008 [eyes] Golden yellow clean color with the typically llittle head of the american pale lagers with no retention, the look is typically carbonation forced...
[nouse] A smooth aroma grany...
[mouth] Fresh, bubles and bubles for the typically carbonation forced, a little cornbread flavor... no hop, no flavor. but good for a Beach day or mechelada time.
