COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Once upon a time, i thought coors was good beer. this of course was when i was quite young and had watched ísmokey and the bandit.í imagine my surprise when i got around to actually trying the beer -- i couldnít understand what any of the fuss was about. coors is different from budweiser in that itís rocky mountain pisswater, not midwestern pisswater.

Some graffiti I saw in the menís room at the RedHook brewery said it best: RedHook in, Coors out.

Another rice beer like Budweiser. Since I am not a beer snob and consider myself a beer redneck, I still wouldnít purchase Coors. For one thing labels mean a lot to the sales of American beer. Who wants to take a beer to a cookout or party that says Banquet Beer on it. No wonder Coors Original does,t sale well.

For some reason you could not buy this stuff in Indiana for yers. Dspite that itís not worth the trip. Been in Golden CO, seen the brewery (Which is actuallly closer to Denver) Itís beer! Plqin and simple, I have had worse, but not much worse. Itís gained popularity through marketing bu thereís not much to it. Coloradoís version of Iron City, take it cheap, or leave it alone.

This has almost as watery a taste as coors light, but as a bonus it tastes like someone has crushed a couple of ibuprofen and threw them in the mix, not my favorite macro.

Good if you want a cheap beer. Easy to drink. If I had to go with a common beer it this would probably be it.

I like Original Coors - donít call it regular Coors - the Coors people donít like that - but an easy drinking beer with a decent clear flavor.
