COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Too heavy for its poor taste. If you’re gonna make a beer that tastes bad, make it lighter so I can drink it faster and forget what I’m doing.

What the hell is a banquet beer? Can you imagine this crap at a fine function?

I don’t know why I even bother rating each of these fizzies individually, they all get about the same ’blah’ rating. This is a clear carbonated liquid that contains alchohol...there you go.

Great american made Beer from Colorado. Nice taste for such a cheap beer that is so popular. Pick a six pack up next time you’re at the store

It’s amazing how good Coors is, and it’s amazing how much worse Coors Light is. (they must water it up) Great classic beer, heck even Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit smuggled it across the border. Good American Standard, enough said.

virtually no taste, watery, slightly better than bud or miller. I remember when I was kid my dad would eagerly trade a case of strohs for this each year, Then when it became widely available in Michigan he told me why the F*&$ did I think it was good. about sums it up.

Will do in a pinch when there’s not another good beer around for miles (or else I’d go and get it)

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2006 Hey, it’s beer. The best of the American pale lagers. That’s not really saying much, but Coors DID inspire Burt Reynolds and Jerry Reed to drive really fast from Georgia to Colorado and then back to Georgia again. Also, I can knock back about twelve of them without my mouth going sour like it does with AB and Miller products.
