COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Will do in a pinch when there’s not another good beer around for miles (or else I’d go and get it)

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2006 Hey, it’s beer. The best of the American pale lagers. That’s not really saying much, but Coors DID inspire Burt Reynolds and Jerry Reed to drive really fast from Georgia to Colorado and then back to Georgia again. Also, I can knock back about twelve of them without my mouth going sour like it does with AB and Miller products.

Woah!! I didn’t rate this? Well, this will be #399 for me. I’m glad that I didn’t have one more beer before now, because this would make a pretty sorry excuse for a number of beer with two zeroes in it. Oh, where to start? It is better than bud or miller, I’ll give it that, but there’s not too much else to say. Moldy metallic flavor, acid on your palate. As Bov would say, ’boark!’

The most tolerable of the American macros in my opinion. Tastes like the stereotypical American beer with some actual purity in the flavor. The choice of my man Drew Leyes...

Its high quality water with a little beer added to it. The appearance is dull, and they only taste good if youve been wasted on a good strong ale before you begin drinking this cheap substitute. Just make sure its cold..a warm coors is a terrible thing to taste.

Not an amazing beer, but not horrible. Taste is light, and best when very cold. Normally I would get something else, but it is a decent cheap alternative.
