3/8/08 On draught. Aroma is not bad, with a decent green apple acetalyde scent. Appearance is clear yellow with a low white head. Flavor is carbonic and plain, just a little less watery than coors light with a metallic bittering. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a high carb texture. Overall, refreshing and not too terrible, but very low on flavor.

Not exactly the most flavorful of beers, but tolerable when there is nothing else around. Clear golden colour, no head, grainy on the palate and aroma which is of corn and lemon. Well carbonated, but watery all the way through.

Clear gold, virtually no head. Fruit juice nose with very fruity estery pale malts, sweetish, corn. Taste betrays DMS, fruit and sweet corn flavours. Light body with light slickness. Sweet, sweet...

Do I need to describe this? Well apparently I do. I just got a low character count alert. Ok, pale golden, grassy, cardboard, skunk, not very good.

Its pretty straight forward, pours a pale yellow with soapy white head. Sweet cereal taste to it. ill say this about this beer: for a mass produced american pale lager it isnt too bad. It is way way better than coors light. To be honest for a cheap crappy beer, its ok. Its nothing id ever go out of my way for but if i was offered one , id pick it over per say a bud or miller.

Like the Bud, only I have to give 1/10 of an extra point b/c of all the good memories drinking this on tap in Fenway, the year the Red Sox won their championship after 86 years.

Rating #1400 12 oz. can - I’m drinking this beer and rating it as I type. Why? Not sure. I just want to keep in step with my rating BMC for milestones. I’m not going to go into details. This just isn’t a very good beer. I do remember sneaking a few from my Grandfather when I was a kid many years ago. One of my least favorite BMC’s.

Nothing special here, pretty standard pale lager swill. Although I suppose you could do quite a bit worse (Budweiser). Just nothing I’m going to be looking for again.
